Office Visit Protocol

Established patients with any of the symptoms listed below must schedule either a telephone or a telemedicine consultation. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the office will continue to follow  CDC recommendations for ambulatory healthcare settings. Appointments will be scheduled one hour apart so that the waiting area will not be over-crowded and to allow time for disinfection of the treatment room.  All patients must wear their own masks before entering the office and temperatures will be checked at the beginning of each office visit.

Covid Symptoms:

  • fever or chills
  • cough
  • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • fatigue
  • muscle or body aches
  • headache
  • new loss of taste or smell
  • sore throat
  • congestion or runny nose
  • nausea or vomiting
  • diarrhea

Patients with all other health concerns should schedule an in-person visit. Appointments for returning patients can be scheduled online or by calling the office. As always, for urgent issues that cannot wait for a scheduled consultation, you can reach Dr. Masiello by phone. Just call the office number and follow the voice mail cues. Established Connecticut patients can still book their in-person visits online or by leaving a message for the secretary at the NYC number. Patients interested in New Patient office visits are encouraged to call the office and leave a message with the secretary. She will return your call and explain the registration process.
